THE GAME
The Scenario
This serious game is aimed to provide you with an introduction into how your organisation could reduce its energy consumption by recommending some basic energy saving techniques.
Ecoville has been awarded funding to begin a regeneration programme aimed at creating businesses that have a key mission to reduce their energy consumption.
You take on the role of Premise Manager Sam Tristan where you have been tasked with ensuring the implementation of devices, campaigns and awareness into two SME organisations, one from the food and drink industry and the other from the construction industry.
You will meet with the Manager of ‘2up Construction’ to discuss staff awareness campaigns as well as what can be done to reduce the company’s external energy consumption. At Go Green you will meet with their Facilities and Process manager to address internal energy consumption.
Your mentor, Marco Hidalgo offered you this position which he was recently promoted from. With the knowledge of best practices he will have great insight into the areas to focus on.
The game compliments the ENERGY-WISE course and the ENERGY-WISE knowledge Base by helping learners to identify areas where they may have a lack of knowledge in a particular subject.
